Over the last two days we have seen a lot. The weather finally cleared on Wednesday, our free day, and we took a round about way to Choleren Gorge. This is a deep rocky gully that is shrouded in shade by massive cliffs that cover you almost completely. The rushing waters of the Tschentbach froth below you as you walk upstream on the metal grate walkway. It is an impressive sight that requires much attention to keep up. The photo of Dad on the walkway is indicative of what you see.
On Tuesday we climbed to, and Mom continued on above, Oeschinensee. It is a lovely snowfed lake and although Dad and I only hung out at the cafe at the shore e erroneous had a good time. Too get to that lake we had to drive by what may be the longest privately owned pedestrian suspension bridge. It does sway.
